As of 22-09-2026 the datasets will no longer receive updates.
You are advised to either use the updated dataset daily-in-situ-meteorological-observations-validated or switch to the corresponding EDR API collection. This dataset is manually validated and therefore updated irregularly. We also offer an unvalidated version with daily updates here.
The updated dataset daily-in-situ-meteorological-observations-validated uses a different NetCDF format, which more closely matches the format of the other related collections. It also has archive from 1901-01-01 onwards, and offers more variables.
