Deprecation notice for knmi23_river_discharge_scenarios_240yr/1.0

As of 22-11-2024, the dataset knmi23_river_discharge_scenarios_240yr/1 has been deprecated. As of this date, the dataset will no longer receive updates. Version 1 is deprecated in order to replace the incorrect values. In the first version the hurs (relative humidity) values are wrong and cannot be used. Secondly, the extreme psl (pressure at sea level) are sometimes wrong due to bias-correction based on wrong EOBS (daily gridded observational dataset for precipitation, temperature, sea level pressure, global radiation and wind speed in Europe) values.

Improvements in version 2 with respect to version 1:

• Psl values are not bias-corrected.
• For most variables lower- and upper-bound values are applied (indicated in the variable description in the netcdf file).
